  1. Product Description

    A new generation, water based, 100% acrylic, long-life, exterior, low sheen, no skid coating for cement, concrete and asphalt tennis courts.
  2. Application Areas

    Interior and exterior use.
    Dry (15% moisture maximum) concrete or cement tennis courts/substrates.
    Settled, well dried (1-2 weeks) freshly laid asphalt tennis courts/substrates.
  3. Product Features

    NEO Tennis Court Paint is highly durable, water and UV resistant for the harsh Namibian climate. 
    Highly washable and abrasion resistant.
    Excellent adhesion.
    Low odour.
    Two coats of NEO Tennis Court Paint must be applied for proper durability.
    If required, the paint surface can be cleaned with a high pressure cleaner as well as normal household detergents.
    NEO Tennis Court Paint has a nearly matt non-skid surface.

    Spreading Rate 6-12 square metres per litre.
    Although the spreading rate will vary with porosity and type of substrate, for uncoated new surfaces work on 6-8 square metres per litre for the first coat and 10-12 square metres per litre for subsequent coats and when applied to sealed, previously painted substrates.

  5. Application Details

    Mixing Always stir well before use with a flat paddle.
    Application Method Brush or roller application.
    Thinning NEO Tennis Court Paint is ready for use un-thinned; thinning with water will reduce its hiding power.
    Cleaning Water.
    Application Stir well before use.
    The concrete surface must be completely dry before paint application. Asphalt based tennis courts should rest some time before paint application. This allows solvents in the asphalt to evaporate.
    Do not apply on a hot surface.
    Two coats of NEO Tennis Court Paint are used for best results.
    With a brush or roller, apply a generous coat of NEO Tennis Court Paint.
    Allow to dry 2 hours before recoating.
    With a brush or roller, apply a second generous coat.

    Clean up application equipment with clean tap water.
    Use NEO Dur (ep00) for the white line markings.
    Although the paint is water resistant it is advised to remove remaining water with a broom from the paint surface after a good rain. Water should not stand for days on the court.
    Do not apply before 09:00 and after 16:00 in the winter.
    Do not apply exterior if it looks like rain will occur within 4-6 hours of application.
  6. Surface Preparation

    Uncoated, Dry Concrete or Cement surfaces The concrete floor must be firm and dry.
    Remove dust, foreign material, fungal and algae growth.
    For any required repair work make use of NEO Repair Paste (nrp07).
    Apply one coat of NEO Bonding Liquid (ig00) to cover NEO Repair Paste (nrp07).
    With a brush or roller, apply a generous coat of NEO Tennis Court Paint.
    Allow to dry 2 hours before recoating.
    With a brush or roller, apply a second generous coat.
    Asphalt Surfaces (Uncoated, Weathered or New) Remove dust, foreign material, fungal and algae growth.
    Asphalt contains certain organic solvents, which should evaporate before the paint application.
    Newly laid asphalt surfaces should rest for a week or two before starting to paint.
    With a brush or roller, apply a generous coat of NEO Tennis Court Paint.
    Allow to dry 2 hours before recoating.
    With a brush or roller, apply a second generous coat.
    Previously Painted Surfaces Remove all loose, flaking and bubbling paint.
    Remove dust, foreign material, fungal and algae growth.
    Fill and seal all visible cracks with NEO Repair Paste (nrp07).
    Apply one coat of NEO Bonding Liquid (ig00) to cover NEO Repair Paste (nrp07).
    Allow to dry.
    With a brush or roller, apply a generous coat of NEO Tennis Court Paint.
    Allow to dry 2 hours before recoating.
    With a brush or roller, apply a second generous coat.
  7. Colour Range and Quantities

    NEO Tennis Court Paint is available in Green and Terra Cotta only.
    Available in 1 litre, 5 litres and 20 litres.
  8. Precautions

    NEO Tennis Court Paint is not flammable.
    It contains no toxic substances and very low levels of VOC (EU regulations).
    Do not allow rain water to sit on the painted court for long periods after heavy rain.
